Thermal Modelling Studies

Thermal modelling has now become an integral part of the design process. The information produced is used to demonstrate compliance with Carbon Emissions Target which are a requirement of Building Regulations.

Thermal modelling is classed more as a design tool rather than a tool to check compliance. The information produced by such a model provides more freedom in assessing the ultimate energy efficiency of a building. The results from such modelling can influence the way in which a building is designed so that energy efficiency is maximized and build costs minimized.
